The organizers of the Latin American Course on Lysosomal Storage Diseases (LACLSD) are delighted to invite you to the IX Edition of this educational initiative, to be held in Antigua, Guatemala, on September 14-18, 2026.

This course is designed for healthcare providers interested in lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs), particularly those who are new to the field.

​

In previous editions, most attendees have been pediatricians, medical geneticists, child neurologists, hematologists, and endocrinologists. However, all medical specialists are encouraged to apply.

 

Non-medical professionals with an interest in LSDs, such as dietitians, nurses, physical therapists, are also welcome, as well as those involved with laboratory diagnosis.

 

The Organizing Committee aims to attract delegates from a wide range of Latin American countries. This is an intensive course, and selected delegates are required to attend all sessions.
