TARGET AUDIENCE
​This course is designed for healthcare providers interested in lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs), particularly those new to the field. In previous editions, most attendees have been pediatricians, medical geneticists, child neurologists, hematologists, and endocrinologists. However, all medical specialists are encouraged to apply. Non-medical professionals with an interest in LSDs, such as dietitians, nurses, and physical therapists, are also welcome. The Organizing Committee aims to attract delegates from as many Latin American countries as possible. This is an intensive course featuring morning and evening lectures, and selected delegates are required to attend all sessions.
LANGUAGE
English is the official language of the course, and a reasonable understanding of English is required. The Organizing Committee and faculty members will do their best to provide translation during the lectures if needed.
VISA AND IMMUNIZATIONS
Delegates should check the visa and immunization requirements for entry into Brazil and Argentina. Please note that yellow fever immunization may be required for travelers coming from certain countries.
TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCE
It is strongly advised to obtain travel and health insurance for the duration of the course. Insurance should be acquired in the country of origin before arriving in Brazil.

REGISTRATION FEE
​A registration fee of USD 200.00 will be charged to all participants accepted into the course. This fee is reduced to USD 100.00 for residents, graduate students, and post-docs (proof of eligibility will be required).

SCHOLARSHIP PACKAGE
​All selected delegates will receive the following:

Access to meeting rooms, course materials, and a course completion certificate;

Transfer from Foz do Iguaçu (IGU) airport to Wish Hotel on September 23rd and from Wish Hotel to Foz do Iguaçu (IGU) airport on September 27th (transfers on other dates are not included, nor are transfers from IGR airport in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina)

Four nights of accommodation (check-in on September 23rd and check-out on September 27th) in a single room

All meals at the hotel from the afternoon of September 23rd to lunchtime on September 27th.
Please note that transportation to the city of Foz do Iguaçu is not included; each delegate is responsible for their own airfare. Although not part of the main program, participants are encouraged to join the optional networking tours on the afternoons of September 24th and September 26th (a fee is applicable).
