The target audience is medical doctors interested in lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs), especially the ones who are starting in this field. Most applicants have been pediatricians, medical geneticists, child neurologists, hematologists, and endocrinologists; however, all medical specialists are welcome to apply. Non-medical professionals interested in LSDs (dietitians, nurses, physical therapists and others) may also apply. The organizers intend to have delegates from as many as possible Latin American countries. The course is intensive and the selected delegates are required to attend to all sessions.
The course will be held in English and a reasonable understanding of this language is required to all delegates. The organizers will do their best to provide simultaneous English to Spanish translation during the plenary lectures but this depends on the sponsorship obtained.
VISA AND IMMUNIZATIONS
The delegates should check if a visa to enter Panama is needed. The need of immunization should also be checked by every delegate (please note: The yellow fever immunization is required to travelers of many countries).
TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCE
The course organizers strongly advise all participants to obtain a travel and health insurance policy for the period of the course.
The Organizers cannot take any responsability for any participant failing to arrange the own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
