GENERAL
INFORMATION
TARGET AUDIENCE
Health providers interested in lysosomal disorders (LSDs), especially the ones who are starting in this field. In previous editions, most of the attendees were pediatricians, medical geneticists, child neurologists, hematologists, and endocrinologists; however, all medical specialists are welcome to apply. Non-medical professionals interested in LSDs (dietitians, nurses, physical therapists, and others) may also apply. The Organizing Committee would like to have delegates from as many as possible different Latin American countries. This is an intensive course with morning and evening lectures and the selected delegates are required to attend all sessions.
LANGUAGE
English is the official language of the course, and a reasonable understanding of this language is required. The Organizing Committee and faculty members will do their best to provide translation during the lectures, if needed.
VISA AND IMMUNIZATIONS
The delegates should check the visa and immunization requirements to enter Panama. Currently, travelers are required to present a negative COVID test, if not vaccinated. Please note that yellow fever immunization is required for travelers from several countries.
TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCE
It is strongly advised to obtain travel and health insurance policy for the period of the course. Please be aware that insurance should be acquired in the country of origin before arrival to Panama.
The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for delegates failing to arrange their own insurance.
